Our coaching staff brings high-level playing and coaching experience — and a genuine passion for developing the next generation of Maritime lacrosse players.

Zac brings extensive experience as both a player and coach. His playing career includes time with the Brooklin Merchants Sr. A & B, a stint with the Halifax Thunderbirds, and Junior A with the Wolves — where he became the ECJLL all-time leading scorer and earned 2× First Team All-Star, 2× Offensive Player of the Year, and 2× Top Scorer. He played NCAA lacrosse at Mars Hill University, where he is the all-time leading goal and point scorer, and competed at the Ales Hrebesky Tournament with the Privateers, winning two championships, MVP, two Offense MVPs, and two Leading Scorer awards. His coaching experience includes Head and Assistant Coach roles for various Team Nova Scotia field lacrosse teams, and Assistant Coach for Team Nova Scotia female box teams.

Brett brings extensive experience both behind the bench and on the floor. His playing career includes time with the Colorado Mammoth (NLL), Coquitlam Adanacs Sr. A — where he was named a 2022 2nd Team All-Star — and Orangeville Junior B. He played with the Dartmouth Bandits (ECJLL) from 2016–2021, earning four league championships, team captain honours, and 1st Team All-Star recognition. He was named Defensive Player of the Tournament in 2025 and 1st Team All-Star in 2026 at the Ales Hrebesky Memorial. His coaching career includes Assistant Coach with the Dartmouth Bandits (2024) and Head Coach (2025–present), and Head Coach for Team Nova Scotia U17.

Former collegiate lacrosse player with a strong background in athlete development, offensive strategy, and mentorship. A three-year starter at Mars Hill University (2021–2024) and three-year starter at Franklin High School (2016–2019, 2020 cancelled), earning All-Classic 8 Conference honours in 2019. Since 2021, Joey has served as Offensive Coordinator at Franklin High School, leading offensive game planning, player development, and skill instruction. He has also coached at the club level with Alpha Lacrosse (U12, 2024) and SE Crew (2022–2023).

Ian brings extensive experience as both a player and coach. His playing career includes serving as an assistant captain with the Wolves and earning 2nd Team Defensive All-Star recognition. He represented Team Nova Scotia at the U18 National Championships, where he was named an All-Canadian. At Bishop's University, Ian was a team captain, multi-year starter, and All-Canadian, demonstrating leadership and excellence throughout his collegiate career. His coaching experience includes four terms as Head Coach within the Lacrosse Nova Scotia program, helping develop athletes and grow the game across the province.
